I made this site mostly to help out others that are trying to repair or make something work. I have had lots of experiences from machining, air conditioning contracting, utility grid system operating, and just being a plain old person who never wants to stop learning how something is made or just to make it myself.
I have put in a lot of frustrating hours of research on several different projects where the internet just ran me through circles and I would still not find the answers I was looking for. So I put this site together to provide what I think are the most direct and simplest ways to actually build or make work whatever you're working on.
I run a well-equipped home shop with the tools to actually test everything I write about. If it's on this site, I've personally used it, broken it, fixed it, and figured it out.
Laser engraver
3D printer — direct drive Dragonfly
CNC router
RCOG-25V mill
Creworks 9x24
ESP32, Arduino, and more
Two things: free troubleshooting guides and downloadable files. The guides cover real problems I've actually solved — setup walkthroughs, firmware fixes, calibration procedures, and workarounds that took me hours to find. The files are things I've built and tested on my own machines that I think are worth sharing.
No fluff. No circles. Just what works.
